Youth leadership

Are you an enthusiastic and decisive volunteer, looking for a new challenge, where you get the opportunity to be meaningful for the development of children in Leidschendam and/or Leidschenveen? Would you like to build something in your own neighborhood together with other volunteers? If you are also available for a few hours a week, we are looking for you! We are looking for enthusiastic leadership (M / V) for members aged 7 to 18 years Function profile You are the leader of a group of girls and organize weekly Scouting activities for this purpose. These are activities that are characterized by teamwork and challenge, with a special place for outdoor living. Activities within Scouting are versatile and varied. Leadership within Scouting takes place in teams of 2 to 5 people. What does a leader do? • Makes, prepares and evaluates - with the other team members - weekly programs and implements these programs. • Makes, prepares and participates – with the other team members – in weekend camp(s). • Guides youth members in their personal development. • Also makes an effort to improve his/her own performance, for example by following training courses. • Participates in the group council, the consultation within the group with the other volunteers. • Participates in regional activities with the team and youth members. • Actively participates in the promotion of this branch of the game and the recruitment of new members. Time load estimate: • At least one turnout per month. This is approximately 3 to 4 hours (including the consultations and preparations). • (weekend) camps.
