In the Haarlemmer Kweektuin, the foundation, volunteers, entrepreneurs and the municipality jointly manage and develop a sustainable city park, where the circular economy is decisive. In recent years, a large piece of land has been redeveloped and a natural playground has been created on this piece of land. A playground, called Paddenpoel, where children can be made aware of what our nature has to offer them. Clambering, climbing, romping, it is all possible at the Paddenpoel. The natural playground is a place with sustainable play equipment and accessible to everyone.. We are looking for a coordinator. This is an unpaid position with an average time investment of 2 to 4 hours per week. Wanted: – affinity with natural play of children at a natural playground – have a feeling for what is going on with the visiting children and supervisors. How are they involved, what do they need. – be open to “inclusive play”. Paddenpoel wants to be a playground for all children – like to be practically active outdoors, get your hands dirty – ability to put things into perspective, humor, creativity. The work is never finished, there is always something to do – have the energy to work with heavy materials and tools on a large terrain – pioneering, networking, organizing
