The children with disabilities visit special education and are offered fun activities at our BSO. Fun, relaxation and clarity are important to us. The children love shuffleboard, crafts, playing outside and making music. As a volunteer you easily make contact and you like to roll up your sleeves. You help the supervisor with activities and small household tasks, such as cleaning up, pouring drinks, etc. During school weeks we are open every Wednesday from 12.00 to 17.30. You divide the tasks together with the supervisor and the other volunteer. We are grateful for your help and reward this with a volunteer fee. Volunteers can develop themselves by following courses. At the AanZet Library, young and old are inspired to learn new things. Part of our offer is the Click & Type computer course. This course is popular with seniors who want to become more adept with the computer, but is also attended by newcomers / non-native speakers. We are looking for enthusiastic and digitally skilled volunteers who want to give this course in the municipality of Molenlanden. Day, time and location in consultation. What will you do? The Click & Type course consists of 8 meetings of 2 hours. The group size is 6 to 8 participants. In principle, you give the course together with another volunteer. During the course, participants practice with the computer and the internet under supervision. We use an online learning program in which each participant practices at his/her own pace. You help participants with questions that arise during the practice. You will receive training in advance so that you know what is expected of you and can help the participants well. The first few weeks you will work with another volunteer and you will be supervised where necessary by an AanZet employee. You will then independently take on the following tasks: - You prepare the room for the course and ensure that the laptops are charged and ready; - You provide coffee and tea for the participants; - You support participants in completing the various modules; - You inform visitors and refer them to (follow-up) courses in the library What do we expect from you? - You are patient, customer-friendly and customer-oriented. - You are well versed in the Dutch language. - You are digitally skilled. You know how to manage online well, can look for solutions to digital problems yourself, and are able to help others with this. Please note: you do not have to be an IT expert! It is especially important that you can help people with the daily 'home, garden and kitchen' use of the computer. - You enjoy working with the (often older) target group. - You can work independently within the given guidelines. - You are willing to follow training that leads to an improvement in the content and quality of the service. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to strengthen our leadership team. Scouting Loevestein is a super fun and adventurous water scouting group where we do all kinds of cool things together. From rowing, sailing and forest games to making creative crafts and lighting campfires. With us it is all about working together, growing and above all having a lot of fun! What will you do as a leader? - Organizing and carrying out cool activities for children. - Going along to weekend camps and summer camp. - Helping children grow and discover talents. As of next season (September 2025), two people will unfortunately be leaving our leadership team. Animal ambulance Schouwen-Duiveland consists of volunteers and helps animals in need 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout Schouwen-Duiveland and (just outside the municipality) Port-Zelande. We have three animal ambulances spread across the island. The animal ambulance is increasingly being asked to help animals in need. So we are getting busier and busier. To strengthen our team, we are therefore regularly looking for new volunteers. We are currently looking for several drivers. A driver is controlled by the control center and drives with the animal ambulance to reports of animals in need. You pick up animals, apply first aid if necessary and, if necessary, take them to the shelter or the vet. You work from home: the animal ambulance is at your door during your shift. We are looking for volunteers for the Groene Weelde Nature and Sustainability Center who enjoy helping with nature education lessons. We give science and technology lessons at primary schools, we deliver and collect teaching boxes and we support teachers in the classroom. We also make teaching materials ourselves, we pack teaching boxes and we give outdoor lessons at locations. We search: - volunteers who help create and maintain teaching materials. - volunteers who bring teaching boxes to schools and pick them up again on Fridays. - volunteers who enjoy working with children and want to give our ready-made lessons, outside in nature and also in the classroom. A Certificate of Good Conduct is mandatory if you work with children. You are in possession of a driver's license and a car if you want to transport. Skills: You think along, can be deployed flexibly, have a heart for nature, sustainability, biodiversity, you keep agreements and you have good communication skills.
