Public Relations (Board)

In short Ensure that Museum Kennemerland becomes more visible to a wider audience by strengthening the communication and promotion of the museum as a PR board member, together with another enthusiastic volunteer. What will you do? As a PR board member, you are responsible for drawing up and implementing the PR and communication strategies of Museum Kennemerland, together with another volunteer. You manage the social media channels and website content, write and distribute press releases, and maintain contacts with media and external partners. Your strategic and creative ideas help the museum to increase its visibility and attract more visitors. This board membership offers you an opportunity to think along at policy level and work on the growth and impact of the museum. Practical This is a management position within the museum, in which you work closely with another volunteer who fulfills the same role. We require a commitment of at least 4 hours per week, but the planning is flexible and depends on the current campaigns and activities. Applications for this vacancy are possible at any time. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with an affinity for communication and PR who would like to think along at board level. You have a creative and strategic mindset and good writing and presentation skills. Experience in PR is a plus, but an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn are more important. You work together with a fellow volunteer in the same role, and are available at least 4 hours per week. What do you contribute to? As a PR board member, you contribute to increasing the visibility and appeal of Museum Kennemerland. You help the museum reach more people and share Kennemerland's heritage widely. Budget coach INOVA is looking for budget coaches to provide financial support to status holders. Are you the one to join our team? INOVA refugee aid is an independent Foundation active in the Alkmaar region, municipalities of Alkmaar, Dijk & Waard, Heiloo, Bergen, Castricum Uitgeest and in the IJmond municipalities of Beverwijk, Heemskerk and Velsen. In these municipalities we guide status holders during their integration and integration. We do this through individual guidance, social activation and group training. For our events in the Meerstate nursing home, we are looking for volunteers who want to help push our residents' wheelchairs once or occasionally. Every year, a number of events are organised in the home, such as a spring market, vinyl bingo, King's Games, summer party, old Dutch games, light tour or Christmas market. We can always use the help of volunteers who pick up our residents in their wheelchairs from their department and drive them around to the various activities. Fun guaranteed!!
