Our clients are a good reflection of the inhabitants of Rotterdam. Of all kinds. From young to old. From poor to rich. The needs of the clients are also very diverse. But one aspect is always central: doing things together. Play a game together or go for a walk. Together to a difficult conversation. Say goodbye together. Or just start over together. What are you going to do? Do you want to get fit yourself? Do you enjoy helping other people? Then this volunteer work is for you! The residents are guided individually or in groups by volunteers. It is possible to organize group activities, but you can also individually guide residents in moving, such as taking a walk or doing some exercises. What do we think is important? Because you mainly work with vulnerable people, we think it is important that you have specific skills such as empathy, tact, reliability and good communication and social skills.
