Playing outside expands your horizons, offers new experiences and the chance for adventure! In addition, exercise is healthy for body and mind! For the children who are registered with Thuismaatjes, playing outside is not self-evident. Sometimes they have a parent who is not mobile, sometimes they lack the skills or opportunities to play outside independently. They need help to understand the social rules of the game or other children do not understand that they react slightly later or differently than they are used to. In short, a little help can be helpful for both parties! From the safety of your help or watchful eye, they can expand their world and gain new positive experiences. Do you dare to take on an adventure and want to go outside with them? The Thuismaatjes consultant always has an intake interview with both parties and looks for the best match. We provide guidance during the introduction and afterwards. We always request a Certificate of Good Conduct for our volunteers, the costs are at our expense. we are de reiskoffer an organization company that is committed to teaching young people with a disability to travel independently, either by public transport or by bike. but for that we need you as a volunteer to practice the journey with these children with the support of a GoOv app. so that they can then travel independently to and from school and home and know which bus line or train to take. or cycle together to learn the route. I hear you thinking but what if I don't have public transport? usually this is reimbursed by the municipality in question and our balance for practicing is put on the map. in addition, you will also do a training to get to know the app in question. how it works. and you will also be introduced to the match that is then made between the volunteer and the traveler. in short a nice job as a volunteer so if it seems like something for you and you have an affinity with the target group and time during the day in the morning and afternoon, sign up now!!! you will then be included in our file and of course a VOG will be requested, the costs of this will be reimbursed. Weekly · 1 to 2 hours
Jong Perspectief
Ivy is a cheerful girl, but because of everything she has been through with her parents' divorce, she is quite insecure. She cannot rely on her parents for support. At home she often feels lost, because a lot of attention goes to her other sisters. With four children in the family, she often feels unseen. She also has a hard time at school, and does not really connect with her classmates. Are you that energetic, active buddy who takes Ivy out and about? Do you feel like being active outside with her every now and then or playing a game? This will help Ivy feel more confident and self-assured. As a buddy for Ivy, you can make all the difference. Why is your help needed? Ivy comes across as a self-assured girl, but she is not. Ivy is a sensitive girl and has been through a lot at home. This makes her quite insecure. She just does not show that very quickly. Her mother has her hands full with her other three daughters, so Ivy is often left to her own devices. It would help her enormously if there was someone for her who would give her the attention she needs. Someone she could ask anything to, without that person thinking it was weird. Who is Ivy? Ivy is a sweet, spontaneous 7-year-old girl. She lives with her mother and three sisters in Lansingerland. Since her parents divorced, she only sees her father on the weekends. Ivy is active, she is really an outdoorsy child. She likes to cycle or go to the playground. She likes many things, such as games, baking cakes, crafts and loves animals. She likes to chat. She has a few friends with whom she can play nicely. But she still finds it difficult socially sometimes. That is also what makes her insecure, although she would rather not show it. How can you help Ivy? Are you an active and energetic type? And do you like a joke like Ivy? Ivy is looking for someone with whom she can do something fun every now and then. Someone with whom she can tell her story. By occasionally going out with Ivy and giving her one-on-one attention, you help her to stand a little stronger in her shoes and she will definitely blossom. A boost for Ivy = a boost for yourself. Because doing good feels good! With your commitment, you make a concrete difference for a vulnerable child. That gives meaning and energy! Who are we looking for? - You live in the (area of) municipality of Lansingerland. Or you don't mind traveling here. - You are an active person and enjoy doing things together. - You are sociable and a good listener. - You are 18 years or older. - You are (child)-friendly, positive and reliable. Who are we? We are a buddy organization that has been connecting children to an adult volunteer for 20 years. Our experienced team provides: - Preparatory training - Personal guidance - A listening ear.
