Bike buddy wanted
Bike buddy wanted
- Sometimes
- Heiloo
In a beautiful, green new neighborhood in Heiloo, 12 young adults with a mild intellectual disability live independently with support, each in their own beautiful apartment.
One young lady of 33 would like to go out by bicycle every now and then. For example: lunch in Heiloo, a visit to a shop or a visit to the beach in Egmond.
To feel safe in traffic and for fun it would be great to have a cycling buddy.
It is important that you have your own bicycle.
The wish is negotiable on Wednesdays or weekends. Like the frequency and time.
Are you interested? Let's meet, welcome!
What is asked of you?
o interest in the other person with an intellectual disability
o an open, respectful attitude and initiative
o patience and time to build a relationship
What do you get in return?
o beautiful moments and gratitude
o support from STG/SIG and supervisors of the housing project
o (being able to) follow training sessions free of charge.
o a Christmas gift and annual drink for volunteers.
Sincerely,
Patrick
