Walking volunteers wanted

We are looking for volunteers who would like to take a walk with residents of the Sint Agnes residential care location in Heemskerk on Tuesday mornings between 10:00 and 11:30. Unfortunately, the residents cannot go outside themselves because they are wheelchair-bound. We already have a nice group of volunteers, but unfortunately we still have to disappoint residents every Tuesday because they cannot come along. That's why we are looking for you so that we can make other residents happy too. There is always a permanent employee with you and afterwards you can enjoy a cup of coffee/tea with the residents. We are looking for a volunteer for the Sint Agnes nursing home in Heemskerk who would like to help with lunch in the restaurant on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday afternoon between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm. You pick up the residents from their apartment and take them to the restaurant, you ask what the residents want for lunch, have a chat, help some residents with lubricating and help with cleaning up/washing up. Activities: Hand and forearm massage for elderly people with dementia in healthcare institutions. "How wonderful this is" is just one example of the many positive reactions we hear. Budget coach INOVA is looking for budget coaches to provide financial support to status holders. Are you the one to join our team? INOVA refugee aid is an independent Foundation active in the Alkmaar region, municipalities of Alkmaar, Dijk & Waard, Heiloo, Bergen, Castricum Uitgeest and in the IJmond municipalities of Beverwijk, Heemskerk and Velsen. In these municipalities we guide status holders during their integration and integration. We do this through individual guidance, social activation and group training. EdINOVA provides various language courses including language improvement, literacy, integration and NT2 state exam. The guidance is aimed at increasing the self-reliance of status holders. The function Refugees often start their lives in the Netherlands from a vulnerable income position. They have no savings and a minimum income. They take out a loan to furnish their home, so they start with a debt. In addition, status holders often have insufficient knowledge of our tax system, health insurance and income support facilities. Nursing home events

For our events in the Meerstate nursing home, we are looking for volunteers who want to help push our residents' wheelchairs once or occasionally. Every year, a number of events are organised in the home, such as a spring market, vinyl bingo, King's Games, summer party, old Dutch games, light tour or Christmas market. We can always use the help of volunteers who pick up our residents in their wheelchairs from their department and drive them around to the various activities. Fun guaranteed!!
