You will be called by means of a pager when an emergency has occurred where the emergency response team is needed. During the incident, the emergency response team treats the slightly injured patients, so that the ambulance staff has their hands free for the more seriously injured patients. As head of the emergency response team, you manage the emergency response team in the cold phase. In the warm phase, you are involved but not directly in charge. What will you do? - You contribute to the quality, readiness and deployability of the emergency response team by ensuring that your team is complete, motivated and trained. - Exercises and training are set up by you (together with the coordinator of the emergency response) - You supervise the established procedures during exercises and deployments, you signal bottlenecks, for example during an exercise or by evaluating a deployment, and you report these to the coordinator. Together you build progress in the emergency response team - If necessary, you are present in the action center during a deployment where you have the voice at the operational level with the safety region, ambulance service and other chain partners What do we expect from you? As a volunteer Support for Loss and Grief coordinator, you ensure a good match between a participant and volunteer for support during bereavement and you are the point of contact for participants and volunteers. You are the link between the participants and the Support for Loss Grief volunteers. Extensive job description: • You are responsible for the introductory meetings with the participants in which you formulate the request for help and properly map out the participant's motivation. • You then look for a suitable volunteer, do an interim evaluation by telephone and actively follow the further process via the registration system and through telephone contact with the participant and volunteer. • You are responsible for recruiting, selecting, coaching and supervising volunteers and you have regular consultations with them. • You are the support and refuge for the volunteer during the process and you organize a group meeting for the volunteers several times a year with a team of volunteer coordinators. • There are regular consultations with the coordinators where we discuss all kinds of matters surrounding the Support for Loss and Grief activity and Humanitas Haarlemmermeer. • You also have regular contact with the board member/supporter about progress.
