Join us during the Night of the Refugee

Can you imagine it? That you have to leave everything behind from one day to the next? And flee headlong with your family, your neighbors or sometimes all alone to a destination that is still unknown? 💔 Never before have so many people fled war, conflict and oppression. By participating in the Night of the Refugee, you commit yourself to them: you draw attention to their stories in a positive way and have your kilometers sponsored. The more money you raise, the more emergency aid we can provide together!! 💪🏼 During the 2023 edition with no fewer than 5,500 participants, more than 1.3 million euros was raised! A fantastic amount! This allowed the Refugee Foundation to give Sudanese refugees, among others, access to clean (drinking) water and sanitary facilities. They also provided emergency aid packages for people who had to flee the earthquake in Turkey and Syria and supported them with, among other things, nutrition in Ethiopia and Burkina Faso. Are you also participating this year? Register individually, with your family, friends, sports club, company or school. Pleasant gardener or gardener

Cornelia

We are looking for someone for a lady from Badhoevedorp who could help her with pruning her hedge and a number of trees in the garden. The waste must then be broken down and placed in the communal green container or it can be taken to the recycling center. She can still do other garden chores herself and she can provide support when working in the garden. It would be nice if she received help in the spring and autumn or every now and then when necessary again. The lady herself has electric pruning shears. She will be happy to welcome you with a nice cup of coffee or tea. Moreover, she speaks a little English, so if you don't speak Dutch, you are also welcome.
