Divorce Experts

Divorce is one of the most stressful events. Many parents in divorce do not have people in their network outside of assistance that they can fall back on for a listening ear or recognition and understanding. These parents in particular need an expert who supports them in the divorce process. What is a Divorce Expert? Divorce experts by experience are adult volunteers who work as divorce experts and provide support to families in Etten-Leur. The volunteers offer a listening ear, recognition and understanding. An experiential divorce expert advises other parents in divorce, holds up a mirror and emphasizes the importance of the child. For whom? Volunteers who want to work as an experience expert in the field of divorces and who want to provide support to families in Etten-Leur. These volunteers have successfully completed their own process. They would like to help other residents of the municipality of Etten-Leur by offering them support in the divorce process. How do we work? The volunteers are screened, matched and guided by the coordinator in their role to support the parent(s) as well as possible. The coordinator of experiential experts on divorces makes the match between the parent and the experiential experts. The match is tailor-made. Both parties can indicate what their wishes and possibilities are. What do we expect from you? There are a number of conditions to become a divorce expert by experience. As a volunteer you have successfully completed your own divorce process. You must be 21 years or older. The coordinator will visit you to get acquainted. We ask you for a Certificate of Good Conduct.
