Would you like to help in our organic garden?

Yvette

We have a piece of land in the Hoeven area of 2 hectares where we have been actively working on our organic garden for 24 years. We have now become a day older and could therefore use extra help. We are looking for volunteers who would like to come and help once a week, on a Monday, Wednesday or Saturday afternoon. We can agree on what suits best each week. Do you have an affinity with organic and forest work and do you enjoy pruning, sowing, renovating garden tools and working in the vegetable garden? Then pay us cash! We will then schedule an introductory meeting.

Volunteer program manager at Over Rood

Over Rood

In relative terms, the Netherlands has the largest number of self-employed persons without employees in the world. Of course, these are not just success stories. Over Rood is a volunteer organization that has been helping self-employed persons and small entrepreneurs to regain overview and insight into their finances for almost 10 years (divided over 15 branches). Not by taking over the problems, but by coaching and working together. A lot is happening in the Netherlands at the moment. The bills and perhaps even the arrears add up quickly. People worry about the future and sometimes consider quitting self-employment. The expectations are gloomy, but Over Rood is ready for the developments. For various locations throughout the Netherlands we are looking for: Volunteers (minimum 4 hours per week) What are you going to do? You guide freelancers in going through a trajectory within Over Rood. The objective of each process is that the client can get to work himself to solve his problems and to work towards a financially healthy future. As a volunteer you share your knowledge and experience with your client and you help to gain structure and overview. You help make difficult choices. You act as a sparring partner. Brings in your knowledge and skills and offers a listening ear. No route is the same. Sometimes the request for help is purely financial-administrative, while at other times advice about business operations makes the difference. You get entrepreneurs out of a negative spiral and help them pick up the thread again. On average you will guide 5 to 10 clients per year with a time commitment of at least 4 hours per week. This is an unpaid position, expenses are (more than) reimbursed. You report directly to the branch manager. What is the profile of a volunteer at Over Rood? Empathetic, unbiased and approachable are Over Rood's core values. We have this in common with our volunteers. As a volunteer you use your knowledge and extensive experience, for example as an independent entrepreneur, director, operational manager or manager in the guidance process. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with people who will benefit greatly from it and you find it a challenge to empower people. In addition, you have the understanding and patience needed to adapt to the pace of the client. You have HBO/University working and thinking level. Knowledge of and experience with managing/coaching/directing (groups of) people. You are empathetic and can empathize with the problems, mental situation and living conditions of clients, without becoming emotionally involved. Demonstrable experience or familiarity with the tricks of the trade when running your own business. Excellent command of the Dutch language in word and writing is a requirement. Important skills: • Being able to listen, summarize and signal well • Structuring, organizing and planning • You can assess a business plan and financial plan • You have basic knowledge of administration and basic knowledge of marketing and sales • You get along well with Excel and find your way on the internet • You have knowledge of different tax types (IB, VAT, Vpb) What do you get in return? Room to make a socially relevant contribution with your knowledge and experience. Appreciation of clients and satisfaction in your work. You make a valuable contribution to the Dutch economy and a healthy business climate, which also offers support in difficult times. Independent work with very good support from the organization where you can determine your own times. Socially involved colleagues who, just like you, use their knowledge, experience and strength to really make a difference for our clients. A solid and instructive internal training. Do you recognize yourself in the above profile? Then we are very curious about you!

Recruit collectors for the Heart Foundation

Muzikalhuis

We are looking for someone to assist me (Maria) in contacting collectors for the Heart Foundation. Or someone who wants to walk a neighborhood themselves. The number of collectors in Hoeven used to be large, but has dropped to 8 people. While the number of heart patients is increasing. The money raised through the collection will be well spent on research to combat heart failure. See: https://www.hartstichting.nl/kundig-onderzoek A walk takes 1 or 2 evenings a week in April. Will you join us for a walk next year? Walking is good for you and you help our society with collections. In addition to collectors, we are looking for someone who wants to help me (Maria) maintain contact with collectors and count the money after the collection. Ps. this has nothing to do with Muzikalhuis. I collect for the Heart Foundation as a volunteer.

Come and have coffee & attention at 't Stoofje

Ontmoetingshuis 't Stoofje

At the meeting house 't Stoofje in Oudenbosch we serve our visitors coffee, tea and attention. That not only gives our visitors a good feeling, but also you as a hostess or host. We are open six afternoons a week (Monday to Saturday) and we are still looking for a hostess or hostess for one or two afternoons. As a hostess or host, you and a fellow volunteer make our visitors feel welcome. When the weather is nice you will receive everyone on our sunny terrace and in autumn and winter our cozy living room is your stomping ground. You have a chat, offer a listening ear, make and serve coffee and tea, create a cozy atmosphere at the table and make a valiant effort to memorize the names of our visitors, so that you can greet everyone by name upon arrival. . And it doesn't matter if that takes a (quite) while. As one of our visitors says: "If you do everything perfectly, then you don't really fit in here!" At 't Stoofje you can be who you are, and that certainly also applies to our volunteers. The entire group of hostesses and hostesses consists of twelve volunteers. We meet every two months for consultation and at least once a year we organize a substantive theme workshop. For example, about loneliness or dealing with different people. We prefer to look for someone for Tuesday and/or Saturday afternoons, but with some mutual agreement, Wednesday or Friday is certainly also possible. In summary: • One afternoon a week • You provide coffee, tea and attention, together with a fellow volunteer • Meaningful to do! • Nice volunteer team • An outing & interesting workshop every year Does this seem like a meaningful, fun way to spend your week? Don't hesitate to send us a message! More information about 't Stoofje can be found at www.hetstoofje.nl.

Hospitable chef wanted

Ontmoetingshuis 't Stoofje

Do you enjoy preparing a simple meal for ten people in our brand new kitchen and eating it together with our visitors? 't Stoofje has been the accessible meeting place in Oudenbosch for fifty years. You can come to us from Monday to Saturday afternoon for a cup of coffee or tea and a chat. And twice a month people can also eat with us, we call it the 'Stew'. Because: eating together is more fun than eating alone! Every first and third Wednesday of the month people can sit down for such a delicious meal. This has recently been done in our new, spacious kitchen, as you can see in the photo. We eat a starter, main course and dessert. There are currently two chefs: one of them cooks monthly, the other every two months. This means that we are still looking for a hospitable chef at least once every two months. If you are available more often, that is also possible. As a chef, you decide for yourself what you are going to make and you also do the shopping (at 't Stoofje's expense, of course). We have a large vegetable garden that produces a lot of harvest during the season, which you can use for your dishes (even if you would!). The meals are fresh, simple and preferably vegetarian in such a way that our visitors hardly notice it ;) You eat with a total of ten people: yourself, a host or hostess and eight visitors. The Stew is popular and is actually always full. Afterwards you don't have to do the washing up yourself, the visitors do that together. We have plans to do the cooking ourselves once a month with a number of visitors. If that sounds like something to you, then that is also a possibility. In short: are you available at least once every two months, do you enjoy cooking for others and do you enjoy eating it together? Then register with us!

Looking for domestic help at 't Stoofje!

Ontmoetingshuis 't Stoofje

Do you like to keep everything clean and fresh? Do you enjoy rolling up your sleeves for someone else? Do you want to be part of a fun group of volunteers? Then come and clean at the meeting house 't Stoofje in Oudenbosch! 't Stoofje has been the accessible meeting place in the heart of Oudenbosch for fifty years. A beautiful place where people are welcome for coffee and tea six afternoons a week. We enjoy receiving everyone in a clean house. Dusting, vacuuming, keeping the toilets clean, but also occasionally cleaning windows and doors; it all contributes to our welcoming place. And don't forget our kitchen, where cookies are baked every week and cooking is done three times a month. We will tailor how often and how many hours you want to come per week to what is convenient for you. Tuesday morning would be nice anyway, because then we are closed for visitors, but there are volunteers at work. That is an ideal time to do the living room. If you also have an afternoon, that would be great. Of course you can sit down at our meeting table for a cup of coffee or tea and a chat between cleaning. Whether you like to work hard or prefer to do everything at a slower pace; it's always good. It doesn't matter if it takes a bit of searching in the beginning. As one of our visitors says: "If you do everything perfectly, then you don't really fit in here!" At 't Stoofje you can be who you are, and that certainly also applies to our volunteers. In 2024, 't Stoofje will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary and you can also contribute to that and celebrate with everyone. If it appeals to you, we'd love to hear from you!
