We are a group of about 60-70 participants, who go to the Disco once a month on Saturday night. We think it's a party every time. We love dancing, but we do need help! The volunteers take us to the dance floor and let off steam just like we do. We are looking for people who can take us to the dance floor and drive us around in a wheelchair, or who invite us to the dance floor and take us by the hand. We like to dance with you. Once we are on the floor, we enjoy ourselves immensely. We have a very nice group of volunteers. There are technical volunteers who are also DJs and volunteers who dance. The dance volunteers also ensure that the coffee, tea, lemonade and liver sausage are ready. And help with picking up and dropping off the participants. Unfortunately, we do not have enough dance volunteers at the moment. Do you like dancing and would you like to help us with that? Then we and the other volunteers are waiting for you! You will get a lot of fun from us and the other volunteers. Afterwards, the volunteers will have a drink. Times and location: Saturday 1x per month. With great pleasure a volunteer cycled on the new duo bike of the Richard Holkade 7 in Haarlem. The clients (people with intellectual disabilities) are eager to see the volunteer return. Unfortunately, the volunteer is going back to work full-time and we are looking for someone to take over. On Monday, Tuesday and Friday (preferably morning) the bicycle is waiting from the day center for a volunteer who wants to cycle with the clients. That can be an hour, but it can also be part of a day. Every week or every other week, all offers are welcome. The bicycle is electrically assisted.
