Become a buddy at Springplank

Would you like to support young people in their development journey towards participation in the labor market? Then we are looking for you! Springplank is the online platform on which young people find their way towards sustainable labor participation. Together we want to prevent young people from dropping out by offering them extra support. As a buddy, you are not a healthcare or education professional, but a sparring partner who broadens their horizons and gives them self-confidence. You have conversations with each other, look for a suitable internship together (see yourself as a networker) and help prepare job applications. Why you want to become a buddy ✅ You help young people who can really use your help. ✅ You improve your own leadership skills during the program. ✅ You expand your network through contact with buddies from other sectors. ✅ You connect with talent: You get access to talented young people, future colleagues or customers. Practical 🙌 - You are available both physically and online. Preferably have a cup of coffee with the young person once a month. The rest can also be done online. - The current academic year you will supervise young people in the Rotterdam region. - You are available for approximately 4 hours per month during the year. - You are available for a short training for buddy - Start date 01-01-2025 Don't worry, you don't have to be an expert. All we ask is that you are motivated to want to help someone else. You have empathy and are a good listener.
