Challenge: End Menstrual Poverty

Once · 1 to 2 hours
NLvoorelkaar

Almost one in ten girls in the Netherlands sometimes has no money for menstrual products... Let's be honest: menstruating doesn't make life more pleasant. It can actually get in the way. Imagine having to worry about whether you can get menstrual products. That's what menstrual poverty is all about. The consequences: participating in daily activities such as school or work becomes a lot more difficult (and uncomfortable). Let's prevent menstruation = unequal... Will you help us take action by collecting menstrual products? In this challenge we will tell you how you can make such a big difference for girls and women in the Netherlands in just one hour! #deadlyserious #challenge

Donate bicycles for the children's bicycle plan

Once · 0 to 1 hours
ANWB

Do you, like the ANWB, think it is important that every child in the Netherlands has access to a bicycle? Then we could really use your help. Donate a bicycle or use your own network to collect bicycles. Organize a collection campaign at school, work, sports club or neighborhood association. Annoying? No not really! An action is in an instant. Why? Unfortunately, having their own bicycle is not a given for every child. Not all parents can afford a bicycle for their child. This forces children to stand still. Literal. Having a bicycle is necessary to participate. It expands a child's world in ways you can't imagine. Collecting is done in no time ✅ Participate? Warm sweater day challenge February 7, 2025

NLvoorelkaar

Every year we tackle energy waste with the largest climate action in the Netherlands: Sweater Day. The next one is Friday 7 February 2025! Will you join us in action for the climate? 8,725 people are already participating in Sweater Day. Participating is simple: turn down the heating, put on an extra warm sweater and save 6% energy and CO2 per degree. If the whole of the Netherlands heats 1 degree lower in 1 day, we save 6.3 million kilos of CO2! If we do that for an entire heating season, we save no less than 1 megaton of CO2! If you register, we know that you are participating and we can calculate our impact better. We can then immediately give you some extra information and tips. Thank you!

Urgent signature action Amnesty International

Amnesty International

Take action at lightning speed when someone is in danger. That is the power of our emergency actions. If someone is in danger, you will receive a call by email. With the push of a button you support the action call. Send a message that you want to participate and we'll make sure you get the link to the registration form! Why are we doing this? Fast, simple and effective: thousands of people, all over the world, send a message to those in power when someone is tortured, threatened or unjustly imprisoned. So many calls are sent in such a short time that they cannot be ignored. That works. The more people participate in the emergency actions, the bigger our fist is against injustice. Send a message if you want to participate! #challenge

Caps for guide dogs for the blind

Once · 0 to 1 hours
KNGF geleidehonden

Did you know that plastic caps can be valuable? At least for us at KNGF Guide Dogs. We receive compensation for every kilogram of caps collected. So instead of throwing away the caps from soft drinks and milk cartons, why not hand them in at one of our collection points? By doing so, you're not only supporting the training of our guide dogs, but also helping to protect the environment. Together, all the caps collected have generated tens of thousands of euros. Here's how it works: Step 1: Send us a message expressing your interest in participating, and we'll provide you with all the necessary information. Step 2: Collect as many caps as possible! Step 3: Drop off the caps at a collection point near you. That's it! You've made a significant impact, benefiting both the guide dogs and the environment. It's a win-win situation! Thank you very much for your support, and good luck with your collection efforts! #challenge

Donate your old sleeping bag for the homeless

Once · 1 to 1 hours
NLvoorelkaar

Tens of thousands of people will sleep in the cold tonight. Donate old sleeping bags and help the homeless through the night! Sheltersuit turns it into a wind and waterproof jacket with a zip-on sleeping bag, for anyone who is forced to sleep outside. ⚡ You will do this Every sleeping bag counts when you're literally out in the cold. So clean up your attic and that of others and collect all old sleeping bags. You can donate these at all Het Goed thrift stores in your area. Note: not every sleeping bag is usable. These are good: • Synthetic thick and thin sleeping bags; • Preferably washed and should be of somewhat good looking; • The zipper may be broken; • The liner must not be broken; • Down/wool sleeping bags cannot be donated, unfortunately. You can hand in your old sleeping bags with every acceptance of goods at one of the 28 thrift stores of Het Goed. 🌙 For this you make all the difference Sheltersuit helps homeless people and refugees who are forced to sleep outside. Due to the increasing demand from aid organizations at home and abroad, no less than 16,500 sleeping bags are needed. By handing in a sleeping bag to Het Goed you make it possible that our social workshops can continue to make Sheltersuits and thus create permanent work. Will you lend a hand? You really make a difference with it and it also makes your attic happy. Thank you in advance!
