Logeerhuis De Buren is a neighborly aid project where people can stay temporarily when, for example, they come from the hospital and are home alone or cannot handle the household for a while. We at the Laurens Dijkveld care institution are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to strengthen our team in our nursing home. We are looking for people who would like to contribute to the well-being of the residents by offering support in various activities. Do you have a warm heart and do you want to mean something to someone else? Nursing home Dijkveld is looking for committed volunteers who want to support us in various activities and as a buddy or living room support. Your commitment can make a world of difference for our residents! What will you do? Buddy: As a buddy, you are a buddy for one of our residents. You undertake activities together such as walking, playing a game, having a chat or just being together. Your presence and attention give our residents a sense of connection and joy. Living room support: Help us with offering breakfast and lunch, and creating a cozy and warm living room atmosphere. Are you participating in Kunstkoppels in the Kunsthal?

During KunstKoppels you will meet someone in the Kunsthal who is completely new and unknown to you, with the focus on the connection between young and old. After an introduction, you will dive into the exhibition as a KunstKoppel. Together you will visit the exhibition DIVA DIVA takes you into the universe of opera goddesses from the nineteenth century to the contemporary pop and rock 'n roll culture of global superstars. The exhibition zooms in on the meaning of the term diva, which originally means goddess. Over the years, the concept has been cherished, rejected and reclaimed and embraced by the performance culture, as a status to be proud of. Costumes, designer looks, personal objects, photos, videos and a musical surround sound experience guide you through an immersive exhibition design by Studio Harm Rensink. By visiting the exhibition (free of charge) with someone from a different generation, you make a beautiful day possible for a lonely elderly person. Together we lower the threshold to visiting the Kunsthal. In addition, you will come into contact with someone who is completely new to you. Isn't that special? Where?
