Then come and help as a volunteer at the start of the morning at one of the nicest homes in Wij zijn Zuiderschans! A fantastic group of residents with great stories and a friendly team where you will certainly feel at home. The residents require a lot of care in the morning and we are therefore looking for someone who, from about 8 a.m. (possible in consultation), provides the residents with a cup of coffee or tea and a breakfast, but above all a listening ear and a nice chat! Everything for breakfast is ready and our residents can all eat independently, but sometimes they no longer know where to find it and you can help them with that. A very enthusiastic colleague is the driving force and is looking for you. She would like to do this together with people who have as much passion and enthusiasm as she does. Do you like to think about how we can set up this daytime activity and do you have room to support this for a few hours a week? The lady is from Ammerzoden. She is a farmer's daughter and also worked a lot on the farm during her married life. The lady always really enjoyed doing this. The lady is now a widow and lost a son last year. She is very sad about this. She also has 3 daughters with whom she has a good bond. Madam keeps to herself a lot. The lady does not eat and drink in public because this is not possible without spilling. The lady has ALS and as a result she speaks very slowly and with difficulty. She is difficult to understand. If talking really doesn't work, the lady always has a speech computer. However, if you take your time and remain calm and know the lady better, you can usually understand her. The lady walks with a walker within Antonigaarde and can also walk around Antoniegaarde. The lady is often alone in her apartment. She likes to read the newspaper and do puzzles.
