An hour of your time = a smile for two!

Do you want to spend your free time actively and meaningfully? Come meet us! Eight (young) adults with intellectual disabilities live at Tweede Thuis in Werkendam. They enjoy going outside to swing, walk, cycle (on a tandem bike), or swim, but are unable to do so independently. As a volunteer, you'll accompany them and ensure their safety during fun activities. You can also participate in activities with our residents at our location. Think of reading aloud, baking cookies, or playing a game together. We value your sociability, loyalty, and caring. Together with the staff at Tweede Thuis, you'll make arrangements about your time and duration, and what you'll be doing. We're happy to accommodate your needs and abilities. You'll join a friendly, hardworking team where you'll receive excellent guidance and your efforts are always appreciated. Tweede Thuis Altena is a parental initiative of Syndion.
