Then apply now to the Red Cross North Holland North for the position:
Trainers Heldin (volunteer)
What is Heldin?
Heldin is a course for women who find it difficult to act in emergency situations. During the course, the participants not only work very specifically on their first aid knowledge, but also on self-confidence, decisiveness and effective communication.
Through Heldin, the women learn to cope in various, challenging situations and therefore feel more confident about their own abilities. As a result, they not only know what to do in an emergency, but they also dare to act and remain calm.
Priority is given to women with a low income who cannot afford a private course themselves.
Heldin consists of individual introductory meetings and seven meetings of 2.5 hours, all of which are provided by two volunteer Heldin trainers. We organize this in collaboration with schools, community centers and other social organizations. We are currently looking for trainers to give these courses!
