What does this volunteer position entail? SOOS is the meeting place for SOVAK clients. These SOOS evenings take place on Monday evenings (from 19:00 to 20:00) and on Thursday evenings from 18:30 to 19:30. We are looking for volunteers who like to help during a SOOS evening. You help by receiving our clients, serving a cup of coffee/tea, handing out a cookie, participating in a game or just chatting with each other. De Soos The Soos is held twice a week on Gruijtplein (Koningsveld 1 in Terheijden). Our clients (mainly from Terheijden) have a mental disability and love to go out for a night out. The SOOS is a very cozy place which has been closed in recent months due to the corona measures. We are very happy that we can start the weekly SOOS again. Together with our physiotherapist and supervisor, you take care of the flexible muscles and joints of people with intellectual disabilities. It mainly concerns people who are wheelchair bound. In a gym, people work on the quality of life and mental health of people through sports and games. Action combined with rest Are you active and sporty?
