About Rukiye

I work as a coordinator for the Energy Bank at Samen 010. Together with my colleagues we coordinate the activities of the Energy Bank, a national project that supports people in saving energy. Do you have questions? Reassure them by responding to the vacancies.

  • This request has been checked by the helpdesk
  • Rukiye has been registered on Zorgzaam010 since 28-11-2017

Communication went well Energiebank Rotterdam is currently well organized (I was impressed during the intake interview, I had some critical questions as a result of information on the internet, Energiebank Rotterdam is a care provider who does not make the mistake as Energiebank Arnhem has done in the past and has therefore run into problems ). The name "Energiebank Rotterdam" would be better called "Helppunt energy cost savings". Pragmatic approach to help people save on their energy bills. Energy bank Rotterdam does not only focus on energy bills. It has connections with other possibilities (organizations) for minimum wage earners to survive with little money. I will soon be taking a course via Zoom, 3 sessions. May 2021.

Do you enjoy organizing activities? Do you have ideas for children's outings in and around Rotterdam? If so, we are looking for you to join our team. We are from the Samen 010 Foundation and have a project for children and teenagers called Thursday Special Day & Friday Xtra Special Day. In Rotterdam, not all parents have the financial resources to offer their children fun activities when they are on holiday. That is why we organize free fun outings on Thursdays and Fridays during all school holidays: the Thursday Special Day for children from 6 to 10 years old and the Friday Xtra Special Day for teenagers from 11 to 14 years old. Together with our volunteers we give the children a fun day. We have a core team within our project where volunteers come together to exchange ideas about the project. Discussions take place, a plan is drawn up and implemented. We are short of volunteers in our core team and that is why we are diligently looking for someone to help alleviate the work. Do you also enjoy going out with the children? Then read our vacancy with the subject: "Volunteers wanted with a heart for children!" Do you find it interesting to be in such a team? What can you do as a budget buddy? On our website you can read in the story of Mr. Castillo what you can do for someone else as a budget buddy. Do you want to know what it means to be a budget buddy? Then read the experience story of budget buddy Bedia Kas. How do we take care of you? We greatly appreciate your commitment as a budget buddy. That's why we take good care of you. Happiness walks are tailor-made especially for you and guided by artist Misja Immink. Misja from Gelukswandelingen: “We view the environment through Gelukswandelers glasses. We joyfully share our discoveries and, while talking and wondering, we find happiness and each other. Outside. On the street. Connection through wonder.” Happiness walks have been specially created for residents of nursing homes, often vulnerable elderly people who do not often go outside, and happiness activists (volunteers). Under the guidance of artist Misja Immink, a cheerful wheelchair brigade explores the neighborhood for new types of happiness. In short, during a Happiness Walk you do something good for someone else and something beautiful together as a group. The impact is great; the elderly really enjoy the wonder and being outside together. Moreover, you will get to know Rotterdam very differently, partly thanks to the surprising assignments. WHAT IS 'IT WILL WORK!' Many people who are getting older or have a disability face problems in daily activities. Such as getting up from the toilet or crossing a threshold with a rollator. Inventors Brigade 'It Will Work!' is a handyman service of volunteers that helps elderly and disabled people in Rotterdam with minor home adjustments. We focus on small jobs that people cannot arrange through the municipality, housing corporations or their own network. Among other things, we place grab rails in toilets and bathrooms, shower seats, remove thresholds or make ramps at front doors. During our rollator consultation hours, we check and repair rollators. We also hold rollator consultations in nursing homes. We are only a small club, but we get quite a lot done: we handle about 350 questions every year. And since 2014 we have already handled more than 2,000 job questions. Visit [website hidden] for more information. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? • 'Het Zal Werken' is looking for handy Rotterdammers (type 'two right hands'), who like to help other people and are able to solve things; • In principle, you work independently, so own transport and own tools are useful. If it suits you, you can also go on the road with just the two of you. This depends on other volunteers; • What we do is also human work; you enjoy interacting with people; WHAT DO WE OFFER? • flexible work: some handymen work on several questions a week, others work job by job and we can call when it is busy. Depending on your availability, we can make arrangements about this; • an expense allowance, for material costs and travel expenses you incur; • volunteer insurance; • fun and practical work; • and of course grateful Rotterdammers who you were able to help with their question; DO YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE OR KNOW MORE? Are you interested and do you want to participate? Or do you want to know more? Send an email to [email address hidden] We like to drink a cup of coffee or tea in the neighborhood so that we can get to know each other better.
