Volunteer Humanitas home administration
vacancy volunteer Humanitas Twente Home administration What we do We are there for all people who are temporarily unable (any longer) to perform those administrative actions themselves that are necessary to prevent and solve financial problems, and who cannot rely on their own network for this. The volunteer helps (for a maximum of one year) to organize and keep the financial affairs in order. He/she does this by visiting people's homes every week with the main goal being; increasing self-reliance and regaining control over money matters. However, if a debt counseling process is unavoidable, the volunteer will provide guidance. The volunteer helps from the possibilities of the participant. The participant retains control and remains responsible for all actions. What do we ask • Affinity and/or experience with administrative/financial matters • A few hours a week of your time for a period of at least 1 year • Willingness to follow training courses and intervisions so that you are and remain well educated • Respect and attention for other standards and values and willing to do something for someone else from a positive attitude • Able to handle confidential information well • You have good social skills and find it a challenge to have a coaching role when it comes to behavioral change in situations such as: dealing with debts, low income, creditor, etc. • A statement of conduct What do we offer • Meaningful and educational volunteer work • Nice contacts with fellow volunteers • Targeted training (with certificate of participation), theme meetings and intervision • Guidance by a professional coordinator • An expense allowance and insurance • You work at the participant's home and can organize your time yourself A healthy financial situation provides peace and balance in the life of the participant.
