DOING GARDEN AND CHORE WORK AT THE THOMASHUIS IN TILBURG

The Thomas House in Tilburg is a small-scale residential facility for people with a mental disability. The residents and the responsible caregivers live together as normally as possible. Short lines of communication, warmth and personal attention are key. People come together here and meet each other. Kees Schrijvers and Helma Plantinga, are the care entrepreneurs of this Thomashuis. They want to offer the residents a safe and homely environment. Both Kees and Helma have extensive experience in working with people with physical and/or mental disabilities. Together with a professional team, they are available 24 hours a day to offer the residents attention and guidance. A cosy, warm and dynamic home.


Activity | Doing garden and chore work

During this day you will be doing garden and chore work at the residence.

Of course, the exact details will be discussed with you beforehand and you will be professionally assisted by (an) experienced guide(s). Helping makes you happy!


Practical information:

Date: 16th of June 2022

Availability for 10 - 20 volunteers (full=full), minimum number of participants 10 persons

Time: approx. 12.30 - 16.30 hrs.
