Elderly people who want to continue to enjoy life with or without a physical or mental disability live in the Nieuwehagen residential care centre. People choose Nieuwehagen if living independently at home is no longer possible. It would be fantastic if you could make a difference in this special care facility.

You will be warmly welcomed by an employee of Nieuwehagen, who will first tell you more about this heart-warming organisation. The elderly people in this care institution have a great need for social contact. To be sociable and have fun together. This location is within walking distance of Sint Jan Cathedral. Together with the elderly, you will enjoy Sint Jan Cathedral in all its glory, and afterwards you will finish off with a delicious real Bossche Bol and a cup of coffee. By organising this afternoon, participants come into contact with other people and daily worries fade into the background for a while. Of course, the exact details will be discussed with you beforehand and you will be professionally assisted by (an) experienced guide(s). Helping makes you happy!

SIGN UP TO HELP AND TAKE A WALK WITH ELDERLY PEOPLE TO SINT JAN

COLLECTING CLOTHES AND MAKING DINNER AT SOCIAL CARE DEN BOSCH

Winter is in full swing, for many of these clients it is not obvious to have or to be able to buy a warm coat. This month you are going to dedicate yourself to the homeless in Den-Bosch. Call on your colleagues to clear out their closets. If there is a coat hanging there that you think needs replacing, save your worn coat and bring it to the office. The volunteers from Stichd will sort and make an inventory of everything. Not only coats but also warm jumpers, socks, scarves and gloves are welcome. The clients of MO Den Bosch have a great need for social contacts, which is why, next to handing out the clothes, you will also make a double impact by providing a delicious dinner and eating together.  The participants enjoy the attention and get energy from the contact with you. In an accessible way, you come into contact with this special target group and you hear the story behind the person. In short, a pleasant day with lots of fun and real contact. How nice is that. During this activity, you will experience that helping really makes you happy. Success guaranteed.
